To the Highlands

I was lucky enough to be able to take a trip to Scotland a few weeks ago (thus the ridiculous lack of posts).  It was a whirlwind week to Glasgow and the Highlands of Scotland.

The ancient Caledonian forest is probably the most beautiful scenery I have ever taken in in my entire life.  And from my first view of a lach in the highlands I was gasping from the incredible views I was seeing before me.

In photos..

The town of Stirling was a gorgeous little town with a medieval church and cemetery looking out over the mountains as well as Stirling Castle.  The town has its roots back to 700AD

The furthest we went was to Inverness which is where we spent the night.  It was very pretty with the river running through the city.  We didn't get to see much of Inverness so I would love to go back.
